Techland Releases Previously-Unseen Exclusive Gameplay Video of Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2 Delayed

Techland has finally released the previously unseen Dying Light 2 gameplay video which is 26 minutes long and showcases brand new gameplay from the game. The video reveals the exceptional ability and the brutal combat gameplay that players will be able to experience when the game comes out next year.

The brand new video further showcases how player choices not only have short-termed consequences in the game but as the player further progresses in the story, the choices will show their impact on later parts as well. The choices will change both the narrative and the world around them which is essentially 4 times bigger than the original Dying Light.

This video was earlier shown behind closed doors both at E3 2019 and Gamescom 2019 however now the developer has decided to finally reveal the gameplay video to the general public so that they can see more of their favorite game as well. Check out the brand new Dying Light 2 gameplay video below.

In Dying Light 2, players find themselves in The City which is the last bastion of humanity in a modern world plunged into a Dark Age. Factions are now fighting for power and the regular people are simply trying to survive desperately in the world overrun by the infected. The game follows the same criteria where the player must scavenge during the day and avoid the infected during the night with their exceptional parkour skills.

However, this time around, player choices play a much bigger role in the game and their consequences are not just short-termed. Each choice made by the player will shape the narrative and the world around them which will last for the entirety of the game. This means that players will be required to make decisions very carefully and reckless decisions will affect them later in the game.

Dying Light 2 is slated for release in Spring 2020.
