Leviathan Axe has ice as its element and with it, you can freeze some low-level enemies very easily. It is very effective against enemies who have fire as their main element. Although being immensely powerful, you can make it even more powerful by equipping pommels, enchantments, and buying skills from its skill tree.
Let us start with the basic upgrades of Leviathan Axe.
Upgrading Leviathan Axe in God of War
Leviathan Axe has five upgrade levels. Each level increases its strength and unlocks more skills for you to purchase from the skill tree. There are only specific places in the game where you can obtain it and most of them involve defeating powerful enemies.
- Upgrade I – This is the Leviathan Axe in its default state. It comes with 10 strength by default.
