Feral Interactive has announced that GRID Autosport is now finally out for Nintendo Switch and fans of the franchise can play the first true racing simulation on Nintendo Switch now. The game can now be played on both the Nintendo Switch and the newly launched Nintendo Switch Lite. GRID Autosport was originally released on PC and the previous generation of consoles and it was later brought to iOS devices as well.
Players can strive to become pro-racers in GRID Autosport as they try to master motorsport’s most exciting cars on the world’s fastest circuits ranging from Indianapolis Motor Speedway to the city streets of Barcelona. Players can adjust the game’s difficulty to suit their own playstyle and play in any way they want as the Nintendo Switch version comes with different control options catering to different players.
It also brings with it a diverse variety of driving disciplines featured in the full console and PC release however this time around, players can experience the most realistic handling and high-speed thrills at home or on the move as GRID Autosport can be played in both Docked and Handheld mode. To cater to their own needs, players can adjust their gaming experience even more by choosing any of the following optimization modes.
- Graphics Mode: 30fps (highest graphical quality)
- Performance Mode: 60 fps target (medium graphical quality)
- Energy Saver Mode: 30fps (lowest graphical quality)
Feral Interactive has also announced that GRID Autosport is arriving as a singleplayer only game however a multiplayer mode is in development and it will arrive in the future as a free update for all players who own the game on Nintendo Switch. A release date for the multiplayer has not been revealed at this time however we can expect it to arrive soon. The Switch version also comes with all of the DLC ever released for the game.
