Death Stranding has finally gone gold and we cannot wait to play it. This was revealed by none other than Hideo Kojima himself on Twitter where he shared a picture of the master disc of the game. Hideo Kojima also thanked everyone including the developers, artists, staff, fans and cast members along with Sony and Guerrilla whose engine powers the game.
It feels like forever but actually it has been only 3 years and 9 months since Hideo Kojima parted ways with Konami and he formed his own studio Kojima Productions. During this time, Hideo Kojima has been hard at work for his first title and super-secretive as well for a long time. However, now the time has almost come and Hideo Kojima has shared plenty of details about the game already with us. In less than 2 months, we will be able to get our hands on Death Stranding.

At the most recent State of Play event, Sony also revealed a brand new Limited Edition PS4 Pro console based on Death Stranding. The console is white and has black hands branding similar to the game and the controller is based on the weird baby from the franchise. The console looks amazing and we are pretty sure they will not long last in the stores due to all the hype and importance of the franchise.
We also got to know that Death Stranding will not require PS Plus for its multiplayer. This was spotted by VG247 who mentioned noticed this from the box art of the brand new Limited Edition PS4 Pro console. Its pre-orders just went live on Game UK and the boxart has a little yellow sticker at the bottom which states that the game does not require PlayStation Plus subscription. You can check out the box art below.
Death Stranding is releasing exclusively on PS4 on November 8, 2019.
