Merge Games have finally announced the release date of their upcoming open-world pirate adventure Stranded Sails – Explorers of the Cursed Islands. The game is slated for release on October 17, 2019, on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this month and fans will be able to set sail on their very own pirate adventure.
Developed by Lemonbomb and published by Merge Games and rokapublish, Stranded Sails – Explorers of the Cursed Islands will take players on a very unique journey through the islands and seas of a mysterious archipelago where you end up after a shipwreck. Your task is to explore the islands, collect resources, find your lost crew members, build a brand new ship and escape the island.
Stranded Sails was recently showcased at Tokyo Game Show, PAX and Gamescom where the title was greatly loved by fans of the open-world adventure genre. The game also won the best booth at the Indie Arena Booth at Gamescom 2019 and is currently in the wishlist of more than 110,000 fans who would be delighted to know about the release date.
The game tasks players with developing their very own camp where they can construct new buildings and resources as well as create a farm where they can plant and grow their own fresh food to the entire crew. This will ensure that the crew remains happy and their mental state does not decline. Apart from exploring new islands, players will need to venture out to find crucial resources in order to build their new ship.
They will come across different mysteries and dangerous threats which would really challenge the wits of the players
