Eastasiasoft Limited has announced that its fruity action ballistics puzzle platformer, Family Tree, is arriving on October 10, 2019, exclusively on Nintendo Switch. The game will cost $7.99 and pre-orders are now live on Nintendo eShop.
In Family Tree, players play as Mr. and Mrs. Fruits who have gone to bed leaving their fruit babies chilling outside playing. All of this is changed quickly when an evil drum and bass loving sugar skull named Pedro appears and sucks all of the babies into a wormhole. This scatters the babies throughout the forest and now Mr. and Mrs. Fruits must find all of their babies and bring them back to their home.
Players take control of both Mr. and Mrs. Fruits through a ballistic arc which shows the projected trajectory of jumping and then landing. Gameplay involves the player starting at the bottom of the level which is essentially a tree and then making their way to the top of the tree and achieving their goal in the meantime and trying to collect as many fruits as possible which turn them back into fruit-babies.
The developer is also celebrating with a brand new trailer which you can check out below.
