In the release date confirmation announcement of the PlayStation 5, the CEO and President of Sony has assured that Ghost of Tsushima will indeed be a title that is coming to the PlayStation 4.

With the current-gen PlayStation 4 coming to an end next year, Sony had been quiet about the release of Ghost of Tsushima. The title was revealed back in E3 2018, without any details about the release of the game. With the recent confirmation about the next-gen PlayStation 5 console launching next year, the CEO of Sony Jim Ryan wasted no time in confirming that the game is a PlayStation 4 title.

While there’s much more to share about PlayStation 5 in the year ahead, we have plenty of blockbuster experiences coming your way on PS4, including Death Stranding, The Last of Us Part II, and Ghost of Tsushima.

Ryan also added names of two big titles, Death Stranding and The Last of Us Part II. But both the games have confirmed release dates announced already. We might get to hear a release date of Ghost of Tsushima before the end of this year. If the game is going to release on the PlayStation 4, then it might get launch sometime in the spring or early summer of 2020.

There are very little details about the game. All we know is that you take on the role of the protagonist called Jin Sakai. He is a powerful warrior whose story takes you all through Japanese history and traditions. A trailer was also released when it was revealed last year at E3 2018. Take a look at the trailer below:
