Worbital is Gearing up for a Console Release Next Week

Worbital Console

After its debut on Nintendo Switch early this year, Worbital is gearing up for a console release next week. Team Jolly Roger has announced that Worbital will release on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on October 18, 2019, bringing intense interplanetary warfare and cosmic chaos for console players.

Worbital was released on Steam back in January 2019 and it brought with it a mix of artillery, gravity and strategic planning into one package. It put the players in the shoes of a commander of an entire planet where they equipped massive and deadly weapons and fought with other players in a bid to destroy their planets.

The game offered a large variety of weapons for the homebase which ranged from lasers and guns. These were aimed at enemies across the entire solar system at all times and players then fought with each other and attempted to destroy the opposition’s planets. However, it might sound easy however it was never as simple due to gravity fields and solar system’s constant shift.

Players would need to keep in mind the gravity of their own planet as well as many other planets in the solar system as they fire deadly lasers and weapons across the solar system. Players get the opportunity to even knock enemy planets off their orbits and cause chain reactions which would initiate deadly chain reactions keeping their enemies on their toes.

Worbital offers a wide variety of modes ranging from Single Player Campaign, AI Skirmishes and Local and Online Multiplayer modes where they could take the battle players from across the globe. Now the fun is about to land on consoles next month and players will be able to experience inter-galactic battles on their favorite consoles.

We reviewed the Steam version of Worbital when it came out so make sure that you give it a read to find out more about this brilliant planet shooter.
