Before the official confirmation of Dark Souls Remastered for Nintendo Switch, a rumor suggested October 1, 2018, to be the launch date. It was the Amazon store, who in response to pre-order of purchase of Dark Souls Remastered for Switch, sent out an email to a few people hinting at October 1, 2018, to be the release date.
Bandai Namco has remained silent on any technical details of Dark Souls Remastered Nintendo Switch version. The remastered version was designed to give improved visuals at 4K 60fps output. At this point, it is unclear about the in-game resolution and fps count of the Dark Souls Remastered Switch version.
However, Dark Souls Remastered has already been released on PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 25, 2018. The game looks sharper, and stunning and gives 4K 60fps output but we can expect the visual fidelity to be much lower on the Nintendo’s console.
