It looks like Dying Light 2 is not the only title Techland is busy working at this moment because it appears like a Call of Juarez title is arriving on Nintendo Switch soon. Techland is sending out special postcards which shows a cowboy playing at what looks like a cowboy game on a Nintendo Switch console. Since we are all aware, Techland acquired the rights to Call of Juarez franchise last year.
This means that a Call of Juarez game is arriving on Nintendo Switch soon. However, what we don’t know at this moment is whether this is a brand new Call of Juarez title or a port of the latest title Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. According to the postcard, the news will arrive on October 24, 2019, High Noon. We don’t even know where the reveal is going to take place as Techland has not scheduled any livestream or video release.
You can check out the postcard Techland sent us below.
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger was released back in 2013 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It was one of the best titles in the franchise and came with some of the coolest features ever. It had the most suited visuals for the setting, awarded players for playing the game well and also came with a Max Payne style slow-motion system which was excellent at dodging bullets. After Red Dead Redemption, Call of Juarez is our favorite video game on cowboys.
We are eagerly awaiting October 24 because the most probable announcement coming on this day is the Nintendo Switch release. We would have loved a brand new title in the franchise as well but if Gunslinger is arriving on Nintendo Switch, we might eventually get a new title on other platforms as well.
