Upgrade to Xbox Scarlett Next Year with Xbox All Access Program

Xbox Scarlett All Access

Microsoft has announced a brand new upgrade plan for players who wish to upgrade to Xbox Scarlett as soon as it is released. Titled Xbox All Access, the service will allow players to automatically apply for an upgrade to the next generation console, Scarlett if they have reached a minimum payment threshold. The threshold is different for both Xbox One S and Xbox One X consoles.

Players can only avail the upgrade program if they purchase an Xbox One S or Xbox One X with Xbox All Access. For Xbox One S, players will need to make at least 18 payments before they are eligible for the upgrade however players who purchase an Xbox One X will be able to upgrade to Xbox Scarlett after just 12 payments which makes it the better option to go for.

The Xbox All Access program is also available for the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition and the monthly payments and the threshold for the upgrade will be different depending on the player choices. With the All Access program, players will get the console of their choice along with one controller and a 24-month membership to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate which includes both Xbox Game Pass and Live Gold Subscription.

Xbox Scarlett All Access

Xbox All Access will be available for players on November 8, 2019, so any players who purchase an Xbox One X on November 8, 2019, will be able to upgrade to Xbox Scarlett next year as soon as the next-gen console is released. Players opting for Xbox One S or Xbox One S All-Digital Edition will need to wait until Spring 2020 since the minimum payment threshold associated with these consoles in 18 months.

It is a great option to choose because the All Access program will also give players a 24 month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate which means that after enjoying games for Xbox One for one year, they will still have another year of subscription left to play games on their brand new Xbox Scarlett. There are certainly both benefits and detriments of opting for the service at this point because currently, we do not know much of the upcoming console at this point.
