Developer Toon York City has announced that its brand new kid-friendly education game My Pizza Family is now available on Android and iOS devices. Players can download and play My Pizza Family through Google Play and App Store now for $2.99. My Pizza Family allows children and their parents to play together and learn as they grow and understand family values and sustainability.
In My Pizza Family, children and their parents unfold the story of two kids called Alex and Camilla as they help out with running their family’s pizza shop and also volunteer to make their neighborhood a better place. The game offers an interactive sitcom-like experience that brings best-in-class production offering Hollywood caliber talent complete with acting and dialog.
Gameplay includes an interactive story mode that allows players freedom to explore the open world of the game along with gardening. The game offers both Spanish and English vocabulary and players do not have to play it alone. With an invite-based multiplayer system, parents or friends could join players to play the game in an extremely safe and kid-friendly environment.
As players play the game, they will notice that the story and gameplay are heavily focused around the importance of family and community which promotes social and emotional learning. Both Alex and Camilla live in the heart of Toon York City where their family’s pizzeria is located. Due to changing times, this local favorite pizzeria has now fallen on a hard time and the kids want to help to return it to its formal glory.
Alex and Camilla partner up with their family’s secret ingredients Paulie Pepperoni, Tony Tomato, Maria Basil Johny Dough, and Giorgio aka PIZZA TOONS to learn the tricks of the trade and help their family to ensure that their pizzeria stays afloat. The players learn to give back to their community with the help of a garden that offers fresh ingredients and common space to everyone around them.

The interactive story features the voice talents of Kevin Farley, Karina Ortiz, and Kyndra Sanchez as players watch the animated cutscenes throughout the main story of the game. In the background, Jason Trachtenburg’s Broadway-style songs add an authentic NYC flavor complete with a five-piece jazz band.
