Koch Media has revealed the details of upcoming Dirt Rally 2.0 ‘FLAT OUT’ DLC pack which will allow racers to step in the shoes of rally icon Colin McRae himself. Apart from adding new content to the game, the ‘FLAT OUT’ pack will bring brand new scenarios to the game which revolve around the life of Colin McRae and will allow you live the rally life of the legendary rally driver. The DLC will arrive on March 24, 2020, as a free download for all Season Pass holders or Deluxe Edition owners.
The Dirt Rally 2.0 ‘FLAT OUT’ pack will add a brand new location-based in Scotland to the game, Perth and Kinross. It will feature 12 new routes for you to test drive the new DLC cars included in the pack which are Subaru Impreza S4 Rally and Subaru Legacy RS. Apart from these new additions, the major part of the new pack will be 40 new scenarios that span over McRae’s legendary career as a rally driver. These scenarios will test your mettle as they will include time penalties, damaged equipment, and mechanical failure.
You will get to drive nine cars which Colin drove during his career ultimately leading to these cars getting famous because of Colin McRae. Some of these cars are coming back to Dirt Rally 2.0 from previous Colin McRae Rally titles and Dirt games. Ross Gowing, Dirt Rally 2.0 Game Director at Codemasters said:
DiRT Rally 2.0 has been a wild and exciting ride, and the ‘FLAT OUT’ pack is the perfect way to conclude the journey. It’s 25 years since Colin became World Champion and the content is our tribute to the greatest rally driver of his generation.
The FLAT OUT pack is going to be the final DLC pack for Dirt Rally 2.0. Standard Edition owners will be able to purchase the DLC store as well from their platform’s store. Since the game’s release, Dirt Rally 2.0 has received four seasons of content and now it is concluding with the final DLC pack in March. The game currently offers the most authentic rally and rallycross experience on PC and consoles.
