Level 1 Experiments

We have detailed all Level 1 Science Experiments below.

Science Experiment How to Complete
Scan at least 25% of the planet’s ecosystem Simply use your scanner to continue scanning everything you find. As a reminder, you can only scan things that are highlighted in yellow when you are in the scanning mode.
Flight Risk You must kill 5 ground creatures while they are in the air. This is pretty simple. Kick a ground creature and then shoot it before it comes back to the ground.
Nuke It For this experiment, you have to fill four creatures with a single Alpha Pufferbird detonation. Head to Cliffs of Mt. Gzarfyn with some Bait and Binding Bile and start baiting Pufferbirds including an Alpha. Once they are close, bind them and shoot the Alpha.
Safety First This one is pretty simple. All you need is a high enough place to jump from and right before hitting the ground, use your Jump Thrusters to avoid falling to your death.
Live Samples Once you get the Live Sampler tool, find a Pufferbird, Baboushka, and Pikemander to complete this easy experiment.

Level 2 Experiments

Scan at least 50% of the planet’s ecosystem Simply use your scanner to continue scanning everything you find. As a reminder, you can only scan things that are highlighted in yellow when you are in the scanning mode.
Easy Target For this experiment, you must kill 4 creatures while they are stuck in Binding Bile within 3 seconds of each other. Head to Fungi of S-ned VII and bait the armored Pufferbirds. Once they are centered together, use blight bombs to get rid of their armor and then use binding bile to trap them. To kill them, simply chuck in a Bombegranate and they will all explode to their death.
Corrosive Rain For this experiment, you must hit 2 creatures with the acid burst from a single dying Prime Jellywaft. Head to Planetary Flotsam and bait some Jellywaft. Once done, shoot the red one to explode it over the others.
Bomb Drop For this experiment, you have to kill 3 armored Pufferbirds with a single Bombegranate. This can be completed easily by the method detailed above for ‘Easy Target’
