Pirate Action RPG Tempest Sails Across PS4 Today, Includes Treasure Island DLC

Herocraft has announced that their pirate action title Tempest is releasing on PS4 today after a successful debut on Steam earlier. Tempest is an RPG that allows you to become a pirate and explore three continents filled with thousands of islands. Tempest was released earlier on PC back in 2016 and since then the game has enjoyed a ‘Mostly Positive’ rating on Steam.

Following the success of the title, the publisher has now released the title on PS4 as well where players will be happy to see that it also includes the Treasure Island DLC along with the base game. Tempest allows you to explore an open-world comprising of three distinct continents which are filled with dozens of colonies and forts.

As you explore these seas, you will be able to complete hundreds of quests and encounter countless ships just waiting for you to plunder. You will also get to customize your ships, trade in cities or with other players, challenge fellow pirates and come face to face with mythical monsters such as Kraken and Leviathan.

Despite receiving around 3 DLC packs, the PS4 release however includes only the Treasure Island DLC which brings with it additional content for you to play such as a fort assault mission, a village defense mission, ability to fight undead and exploring an ancient city along with many others. The remaining DLC might arrive later as purchasables on PSN however at this point, the publisher has not revealed any information on that.

Herocraft previously released their take on Warhammer franchise with the title Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf and Hyperforma on Nintendo Switch.
