Since the unveiling of the RTX 2080 graphics card and Turing architecture, we have seen many leaks of custom graphics cards. Now, we have the EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 XC Ultra edition. We are two days away from 20th August when we will officially see the reveal of reference and custom graphics cards.
Thanks to Videocardz, we have a few images of GeForce RTX 2080. From the looks of it, the RTX 2080 will come with dual fans. However, we speculate that RTX 2080Ti may come in a triple fan design.
We know Samsung is collaborating with Nvidia for its GDDR6 memory technology. The new RTX technology graphics card will take advantage of the most advanced GDDR6 memory. However, since there are no official charts available of the performance of RTX 2080. Till then, we can not know for sure how much better the new RTX 2080 lineup will outperform than GTX 1080Ti.
No pricing neither base nor boost clock has been confirmed so far for EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 XC Ultra edition. However, we do know that EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 XC Ultra will come with 8GB GDDR6 memory with a 256-bit bus. The GPU will have 2944 CUDA Cores and is based on TU104 Turing architecture.
