Try Out Short-Form Narrative Game We Should Talk with a Free Steam Demo

We Should Talk Demo

Insatiable Cycle and Whitethorn Digital has announced that a demo of its short-form narrative game We Should Talk is now live on Steam. We Should Talk arrives just in time when the world is shutting down because of coronavirus concerns and We Should Talk is all about heading out to a pub and making short conversations with different people there.

We Should Talk is a unique game where players craft sentences in response to different in-game characters and create their narrative. Depending on player choices, the sentences will be formed which further creates the narrative by opening up different choices based on the previous one.

Through careful choice of words, you will express yourself as you discuss ongoing problems about life and romance with your in-game partner over text messages while also chatting with friends and strangers at your favorite local bar. Interacting with people will open up new conversation options and based on your choices, your night will unfold.

Based on the selection of your words, your conversations will be pleasant or could turn really ugly. It will also affect the relationship between you and your in-game partner and will decide whether it can survive the night or not. In the end, you will see one of the many possible endings. You can always replay the game to unlock another ending as there are plenty of endings to unlock in the game.

Key features of We Should Talk are:

  • Have personal, intimate conversations with 4 unique characters
  • Your choices can unlock many different conversational paths
  • Play again and again: find all 9 possible endings

We Should Talk is slated for release this June and will arrive on all major consoles and PC via Steam. You can try out the free demo by heading over to the game’s official Steam page and also add the We Should Talk to your Wishlist if you want to.
