Half-Life: Alyx Cheats Guide

This Half-Life: Alyx will show you how you can enter the cheats in the game. Other than a handful of cheats that you can add to manipulate some gameplay features, you are also required to enable the cheats console which has to be activated manually beforehand.

We will show you how to enable the cheats console, where you can add the cheats in the game, and list all the cheats with their details.

Below we have detailed all the cheats and how you can enter them in the game.

How to Enable Cheats Console

The cheats console can only be unlocked before you even start the game. Head on to your Steam Library and then locate the game itself. Now you have to right-click and then select Properties to open up a new menu.

From the Properties menu, select the “Set Launch Options”, which will then pop up a new window. You have to type in the following text in the new window, and make sure you type it exactly how it is shown below:

-console –vconsole

Now press OK and you are ready for the next steps.

How to Add Cheats

The second step is to start up the game, and then pres the console key, or the “~” key on your keyboard which will pop up a new window. This key is just above the Tab key on the left hand side of the keyboard.

This will open up a new window which will only show your PC, not on your VR headset. Choose “Command” and then you have type in the cheats command to enable the cheats themselves. In the Command section, type in the following

sv_cheats 1

This will allow you to enter any of the cheats we have mentioned below.

All Cheats

The following list contains all the cheats in the game that you can just copy and paste them in the console window that pops up.

buddha	Take damage, but you can’t die.
impulse 101	Gives all weapons and 20 resin
impulse 102	Gives all weapon upgrades.
sv_infinite_ammo 1	Toggle infinite ammo for all weapons
sv_infinite_clips 1	Toggle infinite ammo for your magazine, no reloading required
