Techland Has Announced a Dying Light X Unturned Crossover Event

Techland’s Dying Light 2 might be delayed however it is still keeping its first title Dying Light alive with many different limited timed events and crossovers. Previously we had a Left 4 Dead 2, Chivalry and Rocket League crossovers for the game. We also had a limited timed event to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the game. Now, starting from today, Techland has announced a brand new crossover event for Dying Light with Unturned, Dying Light X Unturned.

The new Unturned and Dying Light will start today and end on April 6, 2020, and it exclusive for the PC version of the game. Unturned is a free-to-play multiplayer survival game developed by Smartly Dressed Games and is the latest one to arrive in Dying Light as a crossover game. During the duration of the event, all zombies in the game will have a completely different look that is based on the zombies from Unturned.

Players who jump in this event will also get a special Unturned outfit to celebrate the limited-time event. A free weapon bundle is also available for all players which comes with many new weapons for players to equip and use in their fight against the undead. The bundle is now available for PC players and will arrive later in April for all console players. You will find the following weapons in the new weapon bundle.

• Unturned Machete – No jungle or zombie horde is too dense for this Unturned crossover machete. It’s almost indestructible, sharp enough to easily sever limbs, and so well-balanced it almost wields itself.
• Unturned Rake – This weapon is so much more than your common 17% rake. This here is the ultimate yard tool – light, so simple it almost never breaks, and surprisingly lethal when you need to defend your lawn.
• Unturned Hockey Stick – Whether the sport is good for you depends on which end of this hockey stick you are on. You’ll swing this almost indestructible Unturned crossover weapon effortlessly to either smash your enemy’s head on the spot or leave them dazed.

Techland has also released the first-ever update for the 4v1 multiplayer mode, Be the Zombie. This special mode allows players to invade other player’s games as the Night Hunter and hunt for human survivors. The new update comes in the light of all the feedback gathered through Dying Light community and will greatly balance the mode along with different bug fixes to improve gameplay.
