VOX Game Studio and SOEDESCO have announced that open beta of their upcoming platformer Kaze and the Wild Masks is starting today. After its closed beta last month, the open beta will run exclusively on Steam and from today, players have until April 13 to play the game in its open beta. Players can submit their feedback on SOEDESCO’s Discord server or the official Steam Community Hub.
The open beta of Kaze and the Wild Masks allows players to play a chunk of the full game where they can discover the powers from several Wild Masks. These include lizard, shark, and eagle which will give players the ability to spring, fly or swim. The rest of the abilities will be available in the full game when it launches later this year. Kaze and the Wild Masks is a massive throwback to classic pixel-art platformers and brings its own modern twist in the game as well.
The official press release describes the game as:
True nostalgia
