Super Mario Maker 2 Update Brings World Maker Mode Tomorrow

Super Mario Maker 2 Update

Nintendo has just announced that the final update to Super Mario Maker 2 on the Nintendo Switch will see the addition of a World Maker Mode. This mode will let players create their own world maps mixing their creativity and the new options available. The update is set to go live tomorrow on April 22, where it will be available for free.

World Maker mode is probably the biggest feature in the update, besides the other items which are wearables, allowing Mario to have different effects. Take a look at the update video below:

The World Maker will let you design your own world by creating and joining multiple courses together. This means that you can create any sort of course, with your choice or routing from the starting point to the castle. You can have bridges, create hills, and change the look of the land however you want. You can effectively create a 40-course world with your own custom courses. Lastly, everything you create can be shared online for other players to enjoy your creation with custom courses.

The update also includes several additions of the wearable items that include the Power Balloon from Super Mario World, Frog Suit from Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Acorn, and the Boomerang Flower from Super Mario 3D Land. There are many other power-up items that give you various powers.

The update will be releasing tomorrow for free on your Nintendo Switch and will be the last of the update in the game. Though unfortunate, it brings in a ton of content that the game could receive. Don’t forget to update the game when it releases tomorrow, as you do not want to miss out on this one.
