There are three levels of armor available for your agents. Upgrading the armor not only increases the protection level of your agents but also adds more utility item slots for you to make your agents more effective in different scenarios. Similar to weapons, armor can also be equipped with different mods. We have detailed them below as well.

Basic Body Armor

You start with this armor and it offers very little protection with no stat bonuses or perks. You cannot equip mods on the base armor as well.

Modular Armor

Researched at Assembly for 25 Elerium, Modular Armor is the very first upgrade for your agents’ armor. Modular Armor does not add much towards stat bonuses or perks but it unlocks the ability to equip two mods on each agent.

Enhanced Body Armor

Researched at Assembly for 70 Elerium, the Enhanced Body Armor is the first armor that actually increases the protection armor offers to your agents. With the Enhanced Body Armor equipped, your agents will get two extra health bar, ability to equip two mods as well as an extra Utility Item slot increasing their number to two.

Mastercrafted Body Armor

Researched at Assembly for 125 Elerium, the Mastercrafted Body Armor is the best armor available for your agents in the game. It further adds another health bar to your agents’ life increasing the total number of extra health bars by 3. Apart from this, you also get another Utility Item slot which combined with the previous ones, makes 3 Utility Item slots for you to use.
