Yakuza: Like a Dragon might be making its way to PC after the game has appeared in the Steam database. The seventh title in the series might get a release date announcement for a western release, and that a PC port may be happening pretty soon.
The game was originally released in Japan back in January exclusively on the PS4. We knew that a western release would follow sometime this year, but the release date is still unconfirmed. While the game is still not in the Steam listing of upcoming games, the new information leak could suggest that the PC version might come alongside a western PS4 release.
The information was leaked by lashman on Twitter, saying that the game would be getting a steam store page pretty soon.

Other than being the next title in the long-running series, we do know that the game introduces new mechanics. Unlike the mechanics you might be used to like the fighting mechanics, Yakuza: Like a Dragon implements RPG mechanics. The essence of Yakuza and its gameplay experience is retained even though the combat mechanic is something totally new in the series.
The game now features a turn-based combat system instead of the typical beating and bashing that you might be familiar with in the Yakuza series. The developers talked about the changes saying that they wanted to transform the game is an action RPG than just a conventional action-adventure.
It would be interesting to see Yakuza: Like a Dragon release for PC players alongside PS4. It might also raise the question of the game’s exclusivity on the PlayStation 4 console. Last year, Sega decided to bring Yakuza Kiwami 2 on PC, which signaled the end of the exclusivity of the title on Sony’s consoles.
