Blair Witch Gets a June 2020 Release Date for Nintendo Switch

Blair Witch was released last year and it was critically acclaimed both by fans and the media. Now, Bloober Team has finally announced that Blair Witch is heading to Nintendo Switch on June 25, 2020. Bloober Team is a well-known name in the horror franchise with their previous releases being Layers of Fear and Observer. It was initially announced for Nintendo Switch back in March 2020 during the Nintendo Indie World 2020 showcase.

Blair Witch is a psychological horror game that allows both fans of the franchise and new players to descent into their own madness. The original story is inspired by Lionsgate’s Blair Witch film. The game is set in 1966 when a young boy disappears in the Black Hills near Burkittsville, Maryland. You play as Ellis, a former police officer who has a troubled past along with a trusty companion bullet.

You must investigate the disappearance of the boy and along the way, try not to lose yourself in the madness surrounding you. As you set foot in the Black Hills, you find out that horror awaits them in the woods which turns your life into a nightmare. You will need to help Ellis overcome his fears and his past along with the mysterious forces haunting the woods.

At launch, players will get access to the Blair Witch Good Boy Pack update which will allow you to customize your canine partner with different fur attributes, eye color, and color. You will also get additional Bullet animations. The bundle will also include the Super Rex mini-game so it will be a complete package if you are planning to play Blair Witch once again however this time, you will be able to take the evil with you anywhere you go.
