SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is nearing its release later this month and the developer is releasing more and more information about the game to increase its hype. A new trailer for the game has just been released and it focuses on a brand new mode of the game and it is the Multiplayer mode. The main focus of this trailer is the new Horde mode that players will be able to try out when SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated comes out later this month.
The Horde mode will give players a chance to jump in the shoes of their favorite characters from the franchise and take down hordes of evil enemies along with their friends. Horde mode will allow two people online and couch co-op on the same screen. Players will have around 26 islands to fight enemies along with 7 unique characters. Each character will come with its own unique fighting abilities in the game and players will need to combine their abilities in order to survive as long as they can in the game.
The new trailer shows Sandy, SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick, Mr. Krabs, and Plankton as playable characters. Apart from them, the game will feature three other characters as well. The action looks great as we see the heroes fighting a hectic battle with the enemies on different stages. These stages look small and it also seems like a boss will also be present in most of these stages that will keep interrupting the fights with the normal enemies.
