Persona 4 Golden

Atlus has announced that it will be releasing Persona 4 Golden for PC this week on June 13, and it will available through Valve’s Steam. Atlus will formally announce the game on the PC Gaming Show 2020 on the same date and follow the release of the game immediately after the announcement.

The game was previously rumored to be releasing for PC, however, Gematsu has just confirmed with multiple sources that have knowledge of the game’s release on Steam. Prior to the recent news development, the PC version of the game was leaked yesterday when a Steam listing of the game was caught by a Twitter user by the name of Nitomatta. A developer of the game later confirmed that its listing was indeed for Person 4 Golden.

The steam listing was also picked up by popular gaming industry analysts that include Daniel Ahmad and Wario64, who also mentions the listing to be real after citing multiple sources. While it is still a rumor, as Atlus has yet to confirm, the amount of evidence suggesting that it will indeed release on PC is stacking up.

Persona 4 was originally released more than a decade ago in 2008 on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and the PlayStation Vita. The game is considered a classic in the series by many fans. Persona 4 Golden was then released in 2012 which was an updated and extended version of the original game.

The updated version was well received on the PlayStation Vita which brought in new story content, a new dungeon, and various additions and enhancements to the game. A PC release of the game will be welcome news for the fans of the series. It will also be a good chance to try the classic game in the Person series if you never got the chance to.
