The trailer features some of the gameplay that you can expect in the DLC with its new game mode. It shows the descent into Hell where the players will be able to find all the new weapons and get to slay new enemies.

Although Dying Light 2 has been announced and delayed indefinitely for now, the first game in the series is still alive and going. Techland is working on putting out DLC to this day, and having players return to the game again and again. With the delay of the sequel in full effect, the developers have not given up on the first title and might have squeezed some time to bring in some more DLC.

Whether or not Techland is planning for more Dying Light DLC in the future is uncertain. But without a confirmed release date of Dying Light 2, anything is possible.

Dying Light 2 is the new sequel that Techland is working for the series. The game was originally planned to release in March this year but had been delayed indefinitely for further development of the game. A delay now may not seem like a surprise considering 2020 has been full of delays because of the coronavirus pandemic, this announcement was made in January, well before the pandemic spread to worldwide in other countries.
