Paper Mario: The Origami King Scorching Desert Jewels Guide

As mentioned before, there are four different shaped Jewels you need to find and place in the towers. This will open up a new path for you to continue ahead. The shapes of the Jewels are pretty basic and pretty easy to identify, however, they require certain methods to obtain each of the Jewels.

Each of the Tower has a little riddle hinting what shaped Jewel it requires to be placed inside it and where they can be found.

Triangle Jewel

To get the Triangle Jewel, head to the west part of this Scorching Sandpaper Desert region. You will then come across two Cactus plants, where the Jewel will be right in the middle of them.

The Tower that requires the Triangle Jewel comes with the riddle that says, “Beneath the feet of twins entwined in needles, there, the eye you’ll find.”

Diamond Jewel

The Tower that requires this Diamond Jewel will have the following riddle, hinting the location of the Jewel. The riddle says, “To find my eye would be a feat… Unless you look around my feet.”

The hint here mentions that the Diamond Jewel is pretty close to the Tower itself. Which is quite true, and all you have to do is to go to the base of the tower to get it.

Square Jewel

This Tower requires the Square Jewel that comes with a riddle as well. The hint this tower gives is, “Near walls of waves, a fire’s place… An eye is there, by earth encased.”

The Jewel itself is on the east part of the desert, where it will be on the top floor of the ruins. Head to the top right side of the runs and you will have to use Professor Toad to dig out the Square Jewel for you.

Round Jewel

The last tower comes with its own riddle too, with the jewel location as a hint. “ Eclipse the sun above the lake… A buried eye is yours to take!”

To get this Jewel, you need to go to the lake that can be found in Shroom City. Here you need to solve a short puzzle that requires you to line up the moon reflection with the shape on the tower. Now you just have to dig to get the Round Jewel.
