Nvidia 3000 Series prices

As the announcement of NVIDIA 3000 series comes closer and closer, more leaks and rumors are starting to appear. According to a leak by @GarnetSunset on Twitter, the alleged prices for NVIDIA RTX 3000 series GPUs are RTX 3090 for $1399, RTX 3080 for $799, RTX 3070 for $599 and RTX 3060 for $399.

Keep in mind that these prices are not final or confirmed in any way and might be different at the time of release. The leaker, who goes by the name of James, was the very first source to post pictures of a huge card which he called the RTX 3090.

By the looks of the prices, it seems like NVIDIA is targeting a release for various different price points with their newest GPU lineup, starting from 399$ and going all the way to 1399$. The release prices of the RTX 3000 series are almost the same from the last generation.

So far, the PCB leaks have suggested that the top of the line from the RTX 3000 series is NVIDIA’s PG132-10 board with 24GB of VRAM and it is going to be replacing the RTX 2080Ti. The PG132-20 and PG132-30 boards which are targeting replacing the RTX 2080 SUPER card, will have 20GB and 10GB worth of VRAM respectively.

The PG132-20 board is going to be launching in the first half of October while the PG132-30 board is going to be launching in mid-September. It is also rumored that the RTX 3090 has 60% greater performance than the current Turing based flagship GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. We could see this huge performance leap in ray tracing titles.

The RTX 3000 series, which is based on the Ampere architecture is much awaited from both enthusiasts and gamers alike as it will lock horns directly with AMD’s Big Navi cards which are also scheduled to be released soon. We will have to wait to see who comes out on top.
