Codemasters has announced that its upcoming title DiRT 5 has been delayed and will not release on its scheduled release date. The new release date for DiRT 5 has announced as November 6, 2020, and will release much closer to the next-gen release of the game. This is not the first delay for the game however in these trying times, we have seen plenty of titles get delayed for one reason or another.
Previously, the release date was pushed by one week but it was still in October however this time around, the game has been pushed into November 2020. While the normal release is for November 6, on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the Amplified Edition early access will start on November 3, 2020, on all platforms so players who go for the Amplified Edition will be able to play the game three days earlier.
Apart from the current-gen release, Codemasters has assured fans that the next-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will still release later this year while a Google Stadia release is also scheduled for 2021. All players who purchase the game on Xbox One or PS4 will be able to upgrade their titles to the next-gen for free without paying a single dime. Additional news and gameplay along with more information about the game will also be released in the coming months before the release of the game.
News: DIRT 5 will now launch on November 6 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. #XboxSeriesX and #PS5 versions still launching later this year.

DiRT 5 is Codemasters’ latest title in its long-running DiRT franchise and brings the iconic arcade rally action back to life. We previewed an Early Access version of the game in which we really liked the direction that the developer has taken with the new title. It seemingly packs quite a lot of potential and is certainly one of our most anticipated racing games of this year.
