If you are a fan of horror games or PewDiePie then there is a big chance that you would have heard of the game called Amnesia. Released nearly 120 years ago, Amnesia set a new standard for horror games and now its developer Frictional Games has announced the release date of its sequel Amnesia: Rebirth.
Amnesia: Rebirth is releasing on October 20, 2020, on PC and PS4 and pre-orders are now open for the game on Steam, GoG.com, Epic Games Store, and PS Store. In celebration of the announcement, Frictional Games has also released a brand-new trailer for the game that not only reveals the release date of the game but also journeys deeper into the twisted story behind Amnesia: Rebirth.
In the new trailer, the protagonist, Tasi Trianon finds herself in the desolate landscape of the Algerian desert as she battles her fears and pain as she seeks out answers. The game features a diverse variety of environments ranging from scorched deserts and dark caves to forgotten ruins and alien landscapes. Players will need to learn to explore their environments and find clues that will help them escape and dig up the truth.

Thomas Grip, creative director at Frictional Games details:
Amnesia is not just another haunted house spook-fest, but an emotionally harrowing journey. We aim to go beyond simple jump-scares and to affect players on a deeper level. While Rebirth will contain the terrifying encounters and sights you expect from an Amnesia game, it has a lot more focus on narrative than previous entries in the series. We want the player to form a strong bond with Tasi and intimately share her tribulations. This will not be your run-of-the-mill horror experience.
