Insomniac Games has released additional details for the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man Remaster for the PS5 console. We already knew that the PS4 players will not get a free upgrade to the new PS5 Remaster of the game however now the developer has shared brand new details from the upcoming remaster including a brand new face of our beloved Spider-Man.
To start with, Insomniac has detailed that everyone who buys the Ultimate Edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales: Ultimate Edition will get a voucher for the Marvel’s Spider-Man Remaster. This means that if you opt for the Ultimate Edition, you are set for the complete Spider-Man adventure on your brand-new PS5 right at launch. The PS5 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man will feature new assets, technology, and updates that fully utilize the power of the next-gen console.
Graphically, the developer has updated the city’s environment to take advantage of the new GPU power offered by the PS5. Apart from improving the base models and materials, the environments will now have ray-traced reflections and ambient shadows. The game will now have true reflections on the windows of buildings and will look much more beautiful and authentic with new skies and weather. Apart from the environment, the characters have also received a significant upgrade and you might not like the next part.
Spider-Man now has a brand-new face keeping in mind the added power and details the PS5 now offers. The characters will feature higher fidelity skin, eye, teeth shaders to individually rendered strands of hair. The new tech and details will bring offer the characters and performances to new life. Apart from the fluid frames, you will be able to play the game instantly with near-instant loading, feature Spatial 3D Audio on compatible headphones, and the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. A brand new photo mode is also part of the remaster that will allow you to place lights in the environment and change your Spider-Suit within the Photo Mode. The Remaster is also featuring the new The Amazing Suit as one of the three new suits coming to the game.
