Yakuza:  Like a Dragon Company Management Guide

In this Yakuza:  Like a Dragon Company Management Guide we will guide you on how you can effectively play and complete the Company Management mini game in Yakuza: Like a Dragon and become the biggest company in the game. Company Management is essentially treated as a mini game in Yakuza: Like a Dragon although it is nothing like a mini game in the game. It has a lot of aspects and mechanics that you must understand if you want to reach the top of the stock market.

Company Management Guide – Yakuza: Like a Dragon

Our Yakuza:  Like a Dragon Company Management Guide details everything that you need to know about company management in the game.

Starting the Company Management Mini Game

To start the Company Management mini game, first, you have to keep playing the main game story until you reach Chapter 5. Once you meet with Kamataki Eri outside Otohime Land, she will introduce you to the mini game Company Management once you interact with her. To begin the mini game, simply head to the Ichiban Confectionary located on the south side of the Snack District. You will gain access to its second floor where you will meet with Eri to begin your corporate journey.

Managing Employees

After you start the mini game, Eri will get you up to speed on various mechanics of the mini game. Your main tasks will include buying properties, upgrading them, and then selling them on profits. You will need a good team of employees at your hand which will help you run your business. There are different methods by which you can acquire these employees. You can get them from the streets, through substories, and sometimes Eri will also find them through a cycle.

Once you have hired an employee, you can place them at the properties to meet its requirements and push your profits even further. However, you should try to keep your number of employees limited at the start and only hire more when you can afford them easily. Better employees are not cheap to hire in the game, but they can also work their magic in your company, so it is always a gamble. To see how rare an employee is, you can open their Employee Information screen from the Personnel Management screen.

Here you can see their rarity, their stats, and other information about them. Your goal is to keep your employees happy as well so try to keep their happiness meter in the green and if someone is not happy, their meters will eventually turn purple which is the worst-case scenario for you. You can further take care of your employees by training and promoting them. You can also terminate employees that you do not need in the game.

Corporate Cycle and General Meeting of Stockholders

After you’ve been presented with the sales reports four times, each representing a different fiscal year, you will be required to attend the general meeting of the stockholders. Before the meeting, you should have gone through the reports and have a sound understanding of all of the mechanics of your company because you will need to convince conflicting stockholders that the company is in good shape even if they have some reservations. Your employees will play a vital role here so make sure that you bring your best employees.

For the meeting, you will form a party of four employees who will have two basic stats, persuasiveness and a speech cost. Make sure you pick those with high persuasiveness and low speech cost. You can later decide to start, change your deck, or quit the meeting. During the meeting, some of the things that you must remember include understanding the colors and their strengths and weaknesses. Red beats Green, Green beats Blue and Blue beats Red. It is like a Rock, Paper, Shotgun game but with colors instead.

At the start of the meeting, your approval always starts at 50%, and depending on your performance, you can bring it close to 100% by defeating the shareholders. Your total points are 100 so having employees with lower Speech costs will give you more chances to refute the shareholders. As the meeting progresses, these points gradually increase as well. If you need some extra Will to Fight or Speech Gauge, you can use Ichiban’s levels of apology, but this will damage your stockholder’s position.

Sometimes you will also need to fight a stockholder. When such a scenario happens, simply select the Stockholder from the line-up by matching their color with their symbol. This might not be a hard-and-fast rule because, in certain conditions, these have been different as well. Timing is key in this scenario so make sure that you pick an employee that beats the color of the complaints before the bubble fills up. You must pick a color that can beat the stockholder’s color or match their symbol. This will ensure that you come out at the top every time.

This is all that you need to know about the company management mini game. If you need more help with the game, make sure that you check out the guides below:
