To complete the collectible side quest, you must find the location of all of the 10 sound samples and record them to complete your uncle and your father’s mixtape.

Sound Sample #1 – Hel’s Kitchen

This is the very first sound sample and it is story related. You will start right at its location. Face the river and look to your right where you will find the red buoy with a blinking red light over its top. Zoom in and listen to it. Record the sound and it will be collected.

Sound Sample #2 – Upper East Side

After arriving at the sound sample location, look for the large water tower on your side. If you look at the bottom of this water tower, there is some ice and water is dripping from the ice. Record this sound.

Sound Sample #3 – Upper West Side

Activating the sound sample hunt in the Upper West Side will begin your next sound sample hunt. At the fire station, look for the fire truck with the sirens and zoom in on it. Record its sound and you will complete your collectible.

Sound Sample #4 – Central Park

For this sound sample, you must head down to Central Park. Start the hunt and jump down the bridge and activate your Camouflage. On the frozen water, you will see a group of pigeons. Walk slowly towards them and record their sound. If you approach them normally or scare them, they will fly off so you have to gentle with your approach for this one.

Sound Sample #5 – Midtown

Next, head to Midtown and begin the next sound sample mission. For this one, you have to look for the small shack in the middle of the road right ahead of you. It has a huge flag on it which is essentially a neon sign. Zoom onto this sign and record its electrical hum to complete the mission.

Sound Sample #6 – Chinatown

This one is really easy to spot. In Chinatown, start the sound sample mission and begin to walk around. You will soon find a large red Chinese gate with some Chinese written on it. Right under the Chinese writing, there are some Chinese wind chimes hanging down. You must record these chimes for your sample hunt.

Sound Sample #7 – Greenwich

For your next sample, head down to Greenwich and initiate the quest. For this mission, you must look for the large church tower. Do not go towards it because it is located outside the recording zone. Instead, simply climb on top of the gazebo here and record the church bells from here. You should be good to go.

Sound Sample #8 – Harlem

Head to Harlem and begin the sound sample hunt. For this sample, you have to record a train passing on top of the rails. Look for the train tracks but do not leave the sound zone. While staying inside the zone, zoom in and start recording when the train passes by to record its sound on the rails.

Sound Sample #9 – Financial District

Begin the sound sample mission and jump at the top of the structure in the middle of the zone. Look at the river and you will find a Ferry sounding its horn. Zoom on it and record its sound for your mixtape.

Sound Sample #10 – Back to the Beginning Side Quest

Collect the 9 samples to begin the Back to the Beginning side quest. Follow the markers and you will arrive at the Prowler’s Lair. Inside you will find the final sound sample.
