Ubisoft has just launched The Crew 2: The Chase update for free which is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. The update brings in a new game mode and weekly themed events to put some extra flair in your ride and vehicle customization options.
This is The Crew 2’s third year of live support which also brings in a new seasonal system that is centered around a new in-game company called Motorflix. This is a TV show company known for creating the very best motor-fueled action flicks. You will be recruited to play the starring role in different TV series with seasonal, themed episodes.
Each season will last for 4 months and will comprise 2 successive Episodes running for 2 months each. During the first episode, The Chase, you will play as an elite Interception Unit driver of Vault Corp, a private bank. The task is clear, which is to stop the outlaws before they escape the city.
Motorflix also brings new ways to unlock the content in the game with its brand new feature called Motorpass. This is a new multi-tiered reward system that will allow you to progress through by completing daily and seasonal challenges. Each Episode will come with its own Motorpass, which consists of 50 tiers that offer both free and premium rewards, including exclusive vehicles. You will require the Premium Motorpass for 80,000 Crew Credits to unlock the Premium Rewards.
In both the episodes this season, The Crew 2 Season 1 will bring vehicle drops like the Chevrolet C8 Stingray 2020 or the Lamborghini Veneno Interception Unit 2013. In total there are 20 new vehicles available for you to earn or purchase them in this season.
In addition to the cars, each episode will bring themed events that set the scene and music for clashes which new opponents. The first Episode itself contains four new Special Themed Events that will be available for players.
