A new leak has revealed that Atlus is planning to release Persona 5 Strikers for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on February 23, 2021, for the west. The leak comes from a now-deleted leaked trailer on YouTube which not only revealed the release date of the game but also the platforms of the platform. It seems like the west is also getting the game on PC. The game has been out in Japan since February 2020 as Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers.
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers features a new story set after the events of Persona 5 and it was released on PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan. The game was developed by Persona Team and Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force. The game allowed you to control not just Joker but also the entire team of Phantom Thieves apart from the navigator. During the fights, players were able to switch their characters depending on the situation.
The game depicted the story of Phantom Thieves as teenagers who are out to have fun. It represents a brand-new side of the characters that have not been depicted in the original Persona 5. It is set about half a year after the story of Persona 5. Each of the Phantom Thieves in the game comes with its own unique powers and moves and each excels in particular combat situations which is why the new character switch works really well in the game.
The trailer for Persona 5 Strikers reveal has been taken down however you can still check it out at Gematsu who managed to download the trailer and upload it on their own server. On the Japanese PSN store, a playable demo for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is available however you can only play it if you have a Japanese PSN account and can understand the language.
