NACON and Neopica studio have announced that their hunting game Hunting Simulator 2 is coming to next-gen consoles in 2021. The game will release on both PS5 and Xbox Series next spring and for the time being, the developer has released a free update for current PS4, Xbox One, and PC players of the game. The game was released back on June 25, 2020, and since then, the game has received many updates and content additions.
The updates for Hunting Simulator 2 have made the game even more varied with more content along with performance improvements that will help players to experience hunting like never before. The new content included in the game offers 27 new and rare varieties for 27 of the animals in the game. As players explore the vast environments in the game, they will get to see these exceptional animals in the game as well. However, one thing should be noted here that not all animals are to be hunted in the game.
Since Hunting Simulator 2 respects and follows the real regulations in terms of protected species, some of the rare animals in the game cannot be hunted or require a special license before they can be hunted. Despite not being able to hunt these new animals, players can hunt down all new trophies and achievements for exploring all these environments. The free update also brings different upgrades to graphics, in-game lighting along with interface and vibration iterations.
Hunting Simulator 2 offers the biggest, more varied and more spectacular environments for you to explore and hunt different animals in. This is possible thanks to completely redesigned graphics and sounds effects for the game. You will find hours of challenges and immersion in the game as you explore flora and fauna in some of the most beautiful areas of Europe and United States. The game has 33 animal species for you to find and hunt, 70 weapons and accessories, and 90 official clothing items including:
- Weapons: Winchester, Browning, Sako, Tikka, Verney-Carron, Barrett, Bear Archery, Beretta
- Outfits and accessories: Bushnell, Kryptek, SJK, Ligne Verney-Carron, Browning, Beretta
