Corsair has announced the release of its new ultra-light gaming mouse the KATAR PRO XT and the MM700 RGB Extended Mouse Pad. The KATAR PRO XT is Corsair’s new lightweight mouse which weighs only 73g and comes equips with a drag-reducing paracord cable. It is an extremely agile and well-suited mouse for fast-paced FPS and MOBA gameplay. It is also the first mouse in Corsair’s range to implement the new Corsair Quickstrike buttons.
These Quickstrike buttons are pre-tensioned to reduce the button travel to a minimum allowing every click from the KATAR PRO XT to register as quickly as possible. It supports a compact symmetrical shape and is excellent for both claw and fingertip grip styles. It is the lightest mouse currently offered by Corsair and the accompanying lightweight paracord cable reduces drag to enable faster and more precise movements for players. The new Corsair Quickstrike buttons are also debuting with the new KATAR PRO XT mouse.
These buttons are designed with zero gaps between the primary mouse buttons and their switches which allow all your shots and spells to register immediately in the game with virtually no travel distance. The KATAR PRO XT also comes equipped with high-performance features that most gamers demand in their hardware these days including an 18,000 DPI optical sensor for high-accuracy tracking and durable OMRON switches that are guaranteed for 50 million clicks. The mouse has six buttons that you can customize with Corsair iCue software easily.
The iCue software also allows sensitivity adjustment down to single DPI steps and allows you to save up to three DPI presets for convenient adjustments when switching games and tasks. Corsair is also launching its new iCue MM700 RGB Extended Cloth Gaming Mouse Pad which features RGB. It is the first RGB extended mouse pad from Corsair that features RGB and it has three addressable zones and 360 degrees of customizable lighting surrounding your desktop. It measures 930mm x 400mm which means that it can fit your keyboard, mouse, and more easily.
It is compatible with Corsair iCue software to synchronize the lighting and RGB with your PC or you can even use the simple push-button control to cycle through 12 onboard lighting profiles. It features a glide-enhanced woven textile surface that offers low friction for smooth tracking and pinpoint targeting. It also has an integrated USB hub that has two ports that can be used for plugging in various accessories and peripherals such as a mouse or a headset to your PC.
