Epic Games has just launched the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 while detailing some of the things that the players can expect in the new season. As with any new season, a new Battle Pass is also part of this season and it brings Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider franchise as a Gaming Legend.
Season 6 of Chapter 2 of Fortnite begins with the collapse of Reality after containing the Zero Point. A new Primal biome has now spawned with is far from the modern ways of life we know. The island is pretty wild and will have you looking for methods of survival before your victory royale.
On the new island, you can now craft your own weapons. Though weapons can still be found normally as loot, you can take things in your hands and craft them yourself. There is also a lot of Wildlife roaming around on the island, where you can hunt them for health-granting foods, or resources to craft Primal weapons, a new weapon type introduced this season.
Fan-favorite weapons like the Pump Shotgun and the Assault Rifle can now be crafted as well, however, the resources required are different as you will need to harvest from the last remaining modern technology like cars.
While both the classic weapons and the new Primal weapons can be found as loot that you are more familiar with in Fortnite, if you have a Makeshift weapon with the current resources, you can craft them whenever you want. For example, if you have a Makeshift Bow on yourself, you can also craft the Mechanical Bow or the Primal Bow.
Moving on to what’s new on the island as far as the points of interest are concerned, the center of the island has now turned to the Primal biome, where a towering Spire can be found in the middle of a village that surrounds it. Other new locations include the Colossal Crops, and Boney Burbs.
