Below we have detailed how you can get all the new Science weapons in the game.

The Needler

This new weapon can be obtained in the “Naked Hunch” quest which is given to you by Administrator Ludovico. This the quest that is obtained after you have given the killer to Ludovico. In the quest, you have to go to Rizzo’s Distillation where you will meet Halcyon Helen after getting into this area.

There are two choices you can make here, that are to side with Helen or choosing to be on Ludovico’s side. Whatever you choose will give you The Needler regardless, but might affect your story.

If you choose to side with Halcyon Helen, you need Level 40 of Persuasion to convince her to give you the weapon. If you are good on that front, make your escape from the facility until you reach the Penthouse of the Grand Colonial. Talk to Helen and choose the option where you can borrow her weapon, The Needler. The dialogue option will be marked with Persuade 40. Choose the option, followed by choosing the one where you have to say “I’m already doing all the work.” This will convince her to hand you the weapon.

Now if you choose to go against Helen and stay with Ludovico, you will have no other option but to battle and kill it to get the weapon. This, of course, will be no problem if you have leveled up enough and have decent gear on you.

Udder Buddy

This weapon is part of a side quest where it obtained as a reward for completing it. The quest in question is called “Lost Little Milkmech” which is given to you by Mildred Lenox at the Legal Hunting Supplies location in Eridanos.

The first step is to go to the Legal Hunting Supplies and talk to Mildred Lenox who will give you the quest. Your task here is to make your way to the marked objective where you will find Betty the Milkmech, surrounded by canids that you have to kill. Clear out the canids and return to Mildred to get the weapon as a reward for completing this quest.

Spectrum Gatling

This Science weapon is obtained in a quest called “At the End of the Spectrum” which is found when you reach Purpleberry Orchards. The quest is unlocked when you help Dr. Blossom at the RR&DD labs clear out the lab workers. Inside the labs, you will find the weapon locked inside a glass case, with a control panel outside that you can interact with.

The task here is to find and return with eight different types of Spectrum Vodka. All of these eight variants can be found in Rizzo’s Distillation Station, where you can pick up each of these bottles from the counter. Alternatively, you can find these around Purpleberry Orchard. If you are having trouble finding the Spectrum Violet vodka, you can do so by taking it from Dr. Blossom’s Office which requires its keycard to unlock it.

Return with the eight vodkas back to the RR&DD labs, interact with the console and this will unlock the Spectrum Gatling Science weapon for you.
