Publisher Modus Games has announced the release of Black King DLC for Override 2: Super Mech League 2 along with the arrival of cross-platform matchmaking across all three platforms, PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Black King comes from the anime ULTRAMAN and is now available in Override 2: Super Mech League 2 to crush enemies and anything else that comes in its way.
Modus Games released a new trailer as well showcasing the Black King in action. Check it out below before we jump into additional details:
Black King is yet another character to join the game from the ULTRAMAN universe. It is a ravenous Kaiju and boasts immense power to even rip enemies to shreds easily. Featuring its own unique moveset and fighting style, players can look forward to expanding their character roster with an excellent new addition with Black King. Since Override 2: Super Mech League 2 features devastating mechs battling it out in intense 1-4 player fights, Black King is going to sit in the roster really nicely.
Previously Modus Games also released ULTRAMAN himself back in December and then Bemular in February. This makes Black King the third character to join Override 2 from the ULTRAMAN universe. According to previous announcements, the final character to join the game from the ULTRAMAN universe now remains Dan Moroboshi. Additional details will be shared in the coming days about the next DLC character to arrive in the game.
The new update also brings improved queue times for players and they can now battle against a larger competitive pool of participants in each match type. Override 2: Super Mech League 2 is now available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, both current and previous-gen consoles with cross-platform matchmaking now live for all platforms allowing players to join in the fun no matter which platform they choose.
