Best Weapon Against Lady Dimitrescu

Although you can pretty much use any weapon you have to attack Lady Dimitrescu, where you can also go for melee attacks if you dare. The best and the most effective way to take her down is to have a precision weapon that packs a punch with each bullet.

What this means is that you are in the best position if you have a sniper rifle to attack this boss. The reason for this is because there is only one weakness of this boss, where you can only hit Lady Dimitrescu riding the monster. The flying monster will always be moving and flying around, requiring some precision work if you want to effectively hit Lady Dimitrescu riding on top of the monster, and stagger her for additional attacks.

How to Beat Lady Dimitrescu

The boss fight begins when Lady Dimitrescu transforms her body into a demon-looking creature, while riding a giant flying monster. You might be tempted to shoot the monster, but you won’t be dealing any damage if you shoot anything beside Lady Dimitrescu on top of the monster. Hitting her with any sort of weapon will immediately confirm that this is where you should be focusing with your attacks.

The fight will progress in two phases, where the two stages are distinguished by the slight change of the area. In the first stage, Lady Dimitrescu and her monster will follow you around in this small circular tower you will be fighting her. You can run around and hide inside the corner pillars that will provide some cover, but you are better off just keeping a move on. Instead of facing the monster head-on, run around the tower until you reach behind it. At this point, begin your attack by shooting Lady Dimitrescu. She will eventually fly away or turn around to melee attack you. If she flies away, use your sniper to hit her as many times as you can as this is the best chance for you to stagger her.

When she is staggered, her monster will crash back into the tower and lay immobile for a few seconds. This gives you a clear window to attack Lady Dimitrescu’s body. Occasionally, Lady Dimitrescu will summon bats, which means that you can only run around to avoid them and get hurt. Another way you can avoid her melee attacks is to never be close to the monster and avoid facing it head-on.

The second stage of the fight begins when Lady Dimitrescu will be weakened and thirsty for more blood. In this stage, you are taken to a new area, just to the top of the tower. Lady Dimitrescu will summon more bats while mixing the fight with melee attacks. Your strategy here is to keep attacking the same way in the previous fight, never getting too close to the monster, and keep moving around to avoid it. The boss fight ends when she is weakened and both of you are dragged down the hole in the center of the tower, falling all the way to the ground. Lady Dimitrescu will then die after turning into a pile of rubble and rocks.
