First-person co-op zombie shooting game Back 4 Blood gets a new trailer that shows the game’s characters and their abilities. Warner Bros. Games has just released a new trailer that highlights each character in the game and how they work in the fight against the dead.
We already knew the game had 8 playable characters, but the new trailer that formally introduces them with their abilities gives us a new look. Check out the trailer below:
The eight playable characters are:
- Holly is best knowing for her ability to keep the team together. Armed with her trusty nail spiked baseball bat she calls Dottie, Holly’s resilience and never-say-die attitude helps boost the team’s morale and is often seen as a ray of light in the darkness of the apocalypse.
- Evangelo might be the youngest and least experienced, but is very good in a fight and is a very reliable member of the team.
- Karlee comes with her ability to sense hazards and quick inventory ability that helps the team. She may not be a Cleaner by name, but she more than makes up for it in attitude.
- Jim is the precision sniper in the team who comes with increased damage with precision kills, +1 ADS speed, and Team Weakspot Damage.
- Hoffman comes with extra ammo with kills, increased ammo capacity of the whole team, and an extra offensive item slot.
- Walker is an assault specialist and former Army Ranger/War-torn, specialist. He is highly skilled with front-line combat.
- Doc is the team healer and an instrumental member keeping the team alive and running. She comes with abilities that heal low-health teammates even without items, healing efficiency, and team trauma resistance.
- Mom is the last character in the team who comes with instant revive, support inventory, and team extra life.
If you are unaware of Back 4 Blood, it comes from the creators of the critically acclaimed Left 4 Dead franchise. You find yourself in the center of a war against the Ridden. These are the zombies that were once human, but now are host to a deadly parasite that has turned them into terrifying creatures hell-bent on devouring what remains of humanity.
