This Biomutant Biogenetics Guide will show you how to unlock all the Biogenetic Mutations and their effects. In total, there are eight different Biogenetic Mutations that you can unlock and use in combat.
Each Biogenetic Mutation has its own unique effects that offer you different abilities that you can use on a target or multiple enemies. Biogenetic Mutations can be unlocked by using Bio Points, these are points you gain by defeating enemies in Bio Point areas.

Below we have detailed all the Biogenetic Mutations with their effects and how to unlock them.
Fungi
- Unlock Requirement: 2 Bio Points
This Biomutation allows you to spawn a mushroom in front of you which can then be used as a trampoline to bounce in the air. Additionally, you can spawn it under enemies which launches them in the air, sometimes trapping them in a short loop of jumps.
Mud Punch
- Unlock Requirement: 14 Bio Points
Spawn a large fist made of mud that comes up from the ground. This will knock enemies into the air but is best used to follow up with melee attacks on knocked enemies. It also works great in creating space between yourself and multiple enemies that might be cornering you.
Rad Wisps
- Unlock Requirement: 6 Bio Points
This spawns purple wisps that fly out and target an enemy to deal small amounts of damage. You can unleash a lot of them for sustained damage at a single or more targets.
Storm Hop
- Unlock Requirement: 8 Bio Points
While in the air, activating this will allow you to slam down on the ground and send a 360 shockwave in a wide radius that will damage all enemies caught in the green wave. The wave radius is pretty decent and works great against multiple enemies around you.
Mucus Bubble
- Unlock Requirement: 10 Bio Points
Spawns a big mucus bubble that surrounds you. Helps you jump higher, or stick enemies to the bubble. Pressing the button again will blow the bubble, knocking the attached enemies.
Mothmouth
- Unlock Requirement: 2 Bio Points
Sends a green plume of moths that attack a target, infect them, and then attack other enemies nearby. It also deals small damage while the target is infected.
Vile Bile
Unlock Requirement: 3 Bio Points
Spawn toxis slush of poisonous bile that burns any enemy caught in the radius. The attack continues for a little while, staggering and damage the poisoned enemy. This attack is pretty good when you are surrounded by a lot of enemies.
Turtleform
- Unlock Requirement: 16 Bio Points
This lets you take the form of a turtle in a shell. You can use the shell to slide down from hills and descend faster.
