Hard Copy Games has announced that The Eternal Castle Remastered will be released on both PS4 and PS5 later this month on June 24, 2021. The game has been directed by Leonard Menchiari and it will set you back $14.99 on both platforms. Fans who like physical copies will be glad to know that The Eternal Castle [Remastered] is also getting a physical release later this year however a confirmed release date is not known at this point.
The game is loosely inspired by the classic such as The Prince of Persia and Another World however it brings its own unique formula to the table. Developed by the three-person team TFL Studios, The Eternal Castle [Remastered] is a remaster of the original Eternal Castle from 1987 featuring modern video game mechanics, sophisticated sound design, and 2-bit CGA graphics delivering a unique experience.
The game sends you on a powerful journey where you must use fast-paced melee action and calibrated ranged attacks to survive against different enemies. If a direct assault is not your approach, you can also use stealth for your approach. The game features a semi-procedural world filled with random events, encounters, riddles, traps, and exploration opportunities.

- Go through the adventure alone or with a friend in local co-op mode
- Play over 20 levels across 5 unique worlds

- Use up to 10 different weapons found in different worlds
- Unlock up to 10 different items to gain different abilities
- Find 30 missing fragments to get back home
- Repeat the dream for as many times as you can before officially dying
- Unlock extra episode “Lost Tales” and learn of a brave sacrifice.
- Unlock secret PvP Versus Mode in Dojo and Death Arena
