Merge Games and Italian Games Factory have released a new trailer for their upcoming title Haunted Space that showcases dogfights and ship crafting. The trailer also shows battles with the giant spacefaring colossi in action. The world of Haunted Space is full of ghosts of ancient civilizations and players will need to craft ships that can withstand the onslaught and help them survive in the haunted galaxy.

Haunted Space is set in Neterun and it is a vast expanse of space filled with monuments and relics which have been left behind by ancient civilizations. The galaxy is now haunted by their ghosts and your task is to unravel the reasons behind their presence and also fight against the supernatural threat of these ghosts. The game’s story takes its inspiration from the dark and twisted tales of Heavy Metal and 2000AD.
What sets the game apart from normal space games is its innovative co-pilot system of the game. The co-pilot system of the game allows you complete freedom to choose the level of control that you prefer over your ship. You can turn the game into a complete space simulation, or you can opt for a more arcade-style experience by changing the settings. At full level, this co-pilot system makes the game accessible for blind and visually impaired users, as well as the game, supports eye-tracking as well.
