How to Begin A Pirate’s Life in Sea of Thieves
After you have successfully updated your game, assemble your crew, pick a boat and spawn on any Outlook of your choice in the game. At every Outpost in the game where you can spawn in the game, there is a new shack or point-of-interest where you can head over to near the docks and interact with the new NPC called Castaway. The location is simply marked as Castaway’s Camp.
You will find the Castaway’s Camp at any major Outpost in the game so you can pick whichever Outpost you want. Here, you will find the new NPC called Castaway, and interacting with her will begin your journey. She will tell you a little bit about the lore of the new quest and then you will be free to pick up the very first Tall Tale from the beached ship’s wall at her back. There are five Tall Tales to complete, and you must complete them in order.
You do not necessarily have to worry about their order because the later ones are only unlocked once you have completed their pre-requisite ones. The five new Tall Tales include:
- A Pirate’s Life
- The Sunken Pearl
- Captains of the Damned
- Dark Brethren
- Lords of the Sea
