Developer Tactical Dogs has just released a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming 2D action-adventure game The Looter. The game is planned for a release sometime next year on PC via Steam and GOG and will be available in multiple languages.

In The Looter, players will get to traverse the dangerous wilds of Tortura, a giant forest that has slowly devoured the traces of civilization long gone. Explore deep into Tortura to discover the tragic history of the forest and the future of your people, plus a lot of loot.

The Looter is a 2D action-adventure game set in the post-apocalyptic land of Tortura, a giant forest that has slowly devoured the traces of civilization long gone. As a Looter you set out on a mission that will take you through the most perilous corners of this dark and dangerous world

Humanity is but left with a few survivors, which includes you as one of the survivors. Players will be facing dangerous mutants and even rival survivors for the need to survive and take their supplies. Explore to find and craft the tools and weapons you’ll need to fend off attackers and venture deep into the unknown.

The Looter

There is crafting too, where you can gather loot and acquire materials that can be used to craft all sorts of usable items. As the game progresses, you will gain new blueprints and recipes for these items and for you to craft. Other places where you can find rare rewards are the secret hidden places that Tortura is filled with. However, this will require you to be cunning, perspective, and curious to uncover the secrets that the world is keeping from you.
