Developer Silverstring Media and indie label Fellow Traveller have announced Glitchhikers The Spaces Between, the upcoming indie title set to launch sometime next year on PC and Mac.
Fellow Traveler revealed the game in The Indie Houses Direct Showcase which featured 3 more games in the event. The games featured in the event were:
- Glitchhikers The Spaces Between
- Kraken Academy
- No Longer Home
- Suzerain
The game takes inspiration from the 2014 critically acclaimed title Glitchhikers and is a reborn and reimagined game that expands into new horizons.

Glitchhikers is a surreal journey through the spaces between places. A late night drive, a deserted airport lounge, a moonlit walk through an empty park, a quiet carriage on an overnight train. Who will you meet? What will you talk about? Where will the journey take you? Find yourself along the way.
This is also the first major title from Silverstring Media who is best known for working on a number of critically acclaimed indie games including Celeste, Wandersong, Manifold Garden, and Where the Water Tastes Like Wine.
Glitchhikers The Spaces Between will take you on a journey through liminal spaces, provoking introspective questioning as reality is merged with the strange. Whether you are driving a car down a lonely highway late at night or navigating a near-empty commuter train or winding park paths, the surreal landscapes and events experienced in Glitchhikers: The Spaces Between will give meaning to time and space.
Glitchhikers wasn’t the only game to be announced in the showcase, giving fans plenty of things to be excited about.
Beacon Pines is a storybook adventure game where players take charge as both the reader and its main character, Luka. Through exploring a cute and creepy story, events will unfold in unpredictable and mysterious ways as players use word charms to change the story and choose which paths to take.
Happy Broccoli games shared a trailer teasing the upcoming comedy game that tasks players with navigating the perils of high school
A new trailer for No Longer Home was also revealed by the game’s developer, Humble Grove. The game will be launching on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch on October 7
Lastly, we have Suzerain, the game that is going to launch this month on September 23 on the Nintendo Switch.
