Mythical Animals are legendary beasts that are more powerful than any other animal found in the game. They act as mini-boss enemies that you need to hunt and kill in order to get the Ultimate Predator trophy/achievement.

Below we have detailed all the Mythical Animal and their locations.
Mythical Animal #1 – Mamutito, the Wild Boar
Mamutito is a wild boar mythical animal that is found all the way in the southwestern part of the map on the Isla Santuario. This animal itself will be found north on this island, east from Montesinos Lagoon.
The best way to take out any Mythical Animal is to deal as much damage you can and deplete their health bar indicated over their bodies when they are engaged in a battle with you. The best weapon of choice here is an RPG paired with any assault rifle you have as your primary. The goal here is to keep moving and not letting the boar trample you. There is not a lot of cover in this location, but plenty of opportunities to go for a couple of clean RPG hits to down the animal.
Mythical Animal #2 – White Demoniaco, the White Wolf
The second Mythical Animal is the White Demoniaco, a white wolf that can be found all the north in the Madrugada region, west from Sucio River where the Demoniaco Den is.
Again like any other Mythical Animal, the best weapon of choice against the wolf is to hit it with the RPG paired with an assault rifle. The tricky thing about this area is that it spawns the other variant of the Mythical Animal where you will be also facing the Black Demoniaco wolf.
Focus on one wolf at a time or fire away with an RPG when the wolves are close to each other.
Mythical Animal #3 – Black Demoniaco, the Black Wolf
This is the Black variant of the Wolf found in the same location as above. The wolf fights with the same attacks as the White wolf, but what makes this fight tricky is that you get to fight both the wolves at once.
Mythical Animal #4 – Venodiente, the Crocodile
The next Mythical Animal is the crocodile called Venodiente, found in the westernmost part of the Valle de Oro region. The exact place you are looking for is the Hazardous Waste Disposal, where the crocodile resides.
This Mythical Animal is pretty easy to beat if you can lure it in water and have an RPG at hand, essentially not requiring you to step into the water to attack it. Fire away with your RPG and follow up with your rifle to down this animal quite easily.
If you do fight it on dry land, the fight becomes significantly difficult as Venediente is pretty quick in its attacks and brings along a few other crocodiles in the mix.
Mythical Animal #5 – Sanguinario, the Jaguar
The last of the Mythical Animals is the Sanguinario, the Jaguar who can only be found lurking in the dark during nighttime in the southern part of El Este, west from the Vacia Coast.
The strategy to take down this black Jaguar is the same by using a heavy hitting weapon like the RPG. The big cat is very agile on its paws and will always be on the move in between pouncing at you and evading your attacks. You should match this energy but pause for a good clean hit to deal damage.
